If you find yourself in need of being able to manually delete an application in Windows then follow the steps below:

1.) Make sure you delete the proper directory for whatever application you are having a problem uninstalling.
2.) Make sure you delete any services that application may have running. You can see how to do that by clicking here!
3.) Now you need to get rid of the application in “Add/Remove Programs” or “Programs and Features”:

a.) Start -> Run -> Regedit or Just run the application Regedit.
b.) Go to -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
c.) Right click on the application you want to delete and click Delete.

That’s it!  Your application should now be removed from “Add/Remove Programs” or “Programs and Features”.

It never fails that there are a lot of Windows applications that will fail to uninstall correctly or you may be have some kind of adware that was never meant to uninstall correctly. These applications may leave a running service behind. If you need to manually delete a service in Windows from the Command line then follow the steps below:

1.) Open a command prompt.
2.) Type the following: sc delete Service_Name
3.) Press Enter or Return.

That’s it!  Your service should now be deleted.
